This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company with a reputable company in the mountains of NC!Qualified candidate will be required to perform chemical assays in accordance with USP and other regulatory standards. Experience with HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, IR is a must. The Senior Chemist is responsible for evaluating test data, investigating test failures and calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting test equipment. Additional responsibilities include method transfers, method development and validation, writing SOPs, working with manufacturing on cleaning validations.Permanent position with an employee centered company offering great benefits, salary and relocation assistance.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry
• Three to Five years of related analytical chemistry
• Knowledge of USP and FDA Standards (GLP and GMP)
• QA or QC Chemistry background in preferred
